Mike tackles the leaking shaft seal while we were in the water. The internet recommended doing this repair on the hard, but we went for it!

Mike pulls out the old packing in the shaft seal (stuffing box) and replaces it. The drip into the boat was steady and this was not a repair he had done before. Scary times!
