Описание: Baqueira-Beret is a ski resort located in the heart of the Pyrenees, in the Aran and Àneu Valleys in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain, with the nearest airport located in Toulouse, France, approximately two hours' drive by automobile. The ski area extends from 1,500 to 2,610 metres (4,920 to 8,560 ft) in elevation, and due to its reliable snow elevation, the typical ski season starts in November and goes to late April. Baqueira is the largest and most visited winter resort in Spain.

Baqueira Beret has a transport capacity of 59,424 skiers per hour, a ski area of 2,166 ha, 161 km of groomed slopes, 7 km of itineraries, 10 km of cross-country skiing and 1,101 meters of unevenness.

Baqueira Beret, inaugurated on December 6, 1964, is located in the Aran Valley , province of Lleida , and since 2003 part of its slopes run through the neighboring valley, the Aneu Valley , on the other side of the Puerto de la Bonaigua . It is the only Spanish station located on the northern slope of the Pyrenees .
