Описание: The Legend of Ancient Cracow – A Mechanical Theatre

The Legend of Ancient Cracow is an automatic installation, which combines diverse elements drawn from puppet theatres, visual theatre and video animation. Over 100 pneumatic actuators are placed in the machine controlled by a PCL controller and a computer console, which runs the installation (including film animation, moving set elements, puppet mechanisms, lightning and sound). The story was created by the author and it contains different strands from Slavic mythology and ancient Cracow legends. The piece had become one the most popular attractions in the Rynek Underground modern exhibition space in Cracow.
