Tannhäuser is an 1845 opera in three acts, music and text by Richard Wagner, based on two German legends: Tannhäuser, the mythologized medieval German Minnesänger and poet, and the tale of the Wartburg Song Contest.
Performed on a reed organ made by the Berlin Piano & Organ Co. in 1897. This instrument is not electric, it is foot pumped which is often why they were called "pump organs". The dynamics is controlled by your feet, depending on how fast or slow you move, which makes this instrument quite different from others!
