The administration allowed movement on the bridge even after a safety report in 2022 warned of its poor condition. Why was it never closed? Why were lives allowed to be risked?

The incident draws chilling parallels with the Morbi bridge collapse of 2022, where 135 people died. India continues to face repeated infrastructure failures, and those responsible are rarely held accountable.
