This video is created as part of the NICL assignment for Diploma in Health Science (Cardiovascular Technology) of Politeknik Brunei.
Treadmill Stress Test (Exercise Stress Test), a non-invasive procedure used to evaluate how the heart responds to physical activity.
You will see the complete setup including patient preparation, electrode placement, baseline ECG recording, and the gradual increase in treadmill speed and incline using the Bruce Protocol.
Throughout the test, the patient’s ECG, blood pressure, heart rate, symptoms, and exercise tolerance are continuously monitored to help identify signs of coronary artery disease, ischemia, arrhythmias, or exercise-induced chest pain.
