my first full day in Kyoto. This vlog is very much about easing into Japan slowly - wandering, exploring, shopping (OH STRAP IN), trying matcha, eating a few viral foods and just taking it all in. I spend the day exploring, picking up bits while shopping, doing a little haul of what I found, and trying some foods I’ve seen everywhere online. It felt like the perfect balance of doing things while still keeping the day gentle and unstructured.

This trip already feels really special and grounding, and I’m so grateful to be able to share it with you. I hope this vlog feels calming, cosy and like quiet company while you go about your day.
