My first walk of the new year felt like a quiet reset. Just dirt roads, desert air, and space to think about where we’re headed next.
This year brings some changes for us. Our kids are growing, and with that comes new needs, new rhythms, and a different pace. We don’t have it all mapped out yet, and that’s okay. What we do know is that it means slowing down, staying in places longer, and exploring in ways that fit this season of our family’s life.
We’re choosing flexibility over formulas and intention over expectations. The road will still lead us forward, just maybe with fewer miles and deeper roots along the way. We’re looking ahead with hope, ready to adjust and grateful for the freedom to choose what works for us right now.
