The beautiful side of van life is what everyone sees. But today, I want to show you the reality of what happens when a long adventure becomes overwhelming. My van became a source of stress—a dirty, disorganized nightmare that I was embarrassed to even be in. It got to the point where it was genuinely depressing to be in the van I love.
It's a feeling that could make a person want to quit. But not me! Resilience is about pushing through those moments. I decided it was time for a miraculous makeover. It's a reminder that at age 75, resilience is a powerful tool, and sometimes, that means hard work and getting your hands dirty so you can get a fresh start.
This video is for anyone who is part-time or full-time vanlife and has ever felt overwhelmed by the mess. I'm going to show you how I reclaimed my space and turned this disaster back into my dream home. That first night back in my clean van... wow. I was so excited to hit the roads I love. It felt like coming home.
