Crews from the Cleveland Division of Fire came to the rescue of a window washer who was stranded and dangling several stories from Key Tower on Friday.
Just before 3 p.m., Cleveland firefighters Local 93 posted on X that crews were "enroute to rescue a window washer who is stranded on the 10th floor. 127 Public Square."
The worker was apparently experiencing equipment failure.
The CFD's Technical Rescue Squad made the rescue between the 11th and 12th floors. The worker was examined by Cleveland EMS and CFD as a precaution, but escaped injury. No other injuries were reported.
