Quick introduction to the Leader LSG-16 RF signal generator. I picked this up when I first got back into electronics after a long pause. I bought it because it was cheap (I wasn't sure if I would drop out of electronics again) and easy to use.
This is a small and compact unit that does not take up much space. A socket for testing crystals is also provided. The frequency range is from 100 KHz to 300 MHz. From 100 KHz to 100 MHz fundamental frequencies are used. Thereafter harmonics are used up to 300 MHz. Common frequencies such as 455 KHz and 10.7 MHz are marked. There is an low-level and high-level output and a fine tuning output control is also provided.
