I posted this because I didnt see any videos addressing this particular problem.
This is the fix most of the time, other times it could be your power brick if its making a lot of noise or if the light stays green; in which case you can take it apart by the four screws on the bottom and either cleaning the fan, or checking if anythings melted or blown.
It could also be the thin strip sodered into the xbox that's connected to the power button and the open button from the inside. If that's the case you WILL need to take apart your xbox to fix it from the inside.
