“Nature never did betray the heart that loved her" is a famous line from William Wordsworth's poem "Lines Composed a Few Miles above Tintern Abbey" (1798). It expresses the belief that nature provides constant healing, comfort, and joy to those who sincerely love and appreciate it, serving as a spiritual anchor. And I agree.
Sometimes the best gift we can give ourselves is the space and time to just breathe. ❤️
In a world that is so full of things that are so ready to deplete us of our energy and so full of noise and busyness, this is where I find the deepest sense of gratitude for all things…. In nature. Nature does not seek to take anything from me, it just wants to give.
What better day than on Valentine’s Day to fill my own cup with what I love. Finding the beauty in this, no matter the season or weather.
What a gift. I am grateful .
This is how I spent my Valentine’s Day, hiking the quiet ski trails and just…. observing. Listening. And just breathing. ❤️
