What is the difference between Faber-Castell Gelatos® and Gel Sticks?
Gelatos are compact, acid-free pigment sticks that glide on creamy smooth for vibrant color and coverage. All Gelatos blend easily with or without water. Try this unique medium on paper, canvas, or wood!
Gel Sticks are a mixture of oils, waxes and pigments that create a soft color lay down. They are water soluble, and tested for children's safety.
A couple major differences are that Gelatos have a higher lightfastness rating, which will allow your artwork to last longer. The Gelatos are also available in 80 colors, while the Gel Sticks are available in 18 colors.
