Eine Tour auf den Taborberg ist praktisch das ganze Jahr über machbar. Der wenig bekannte Salzburger Gipfel in der Nähe des Pass Gschütt liegt hübsch zwischen Postalm, Gosaukamm, Dachstein und Tennengebirge eingebettet. Selbst, wenn der erste Schnee gefallen ist, kann man dort oben noch gefahrlos wandern. Ist die Lawinensituation verschärft, nimmt man einfach den dezidierten Winterweg für den Auf- und Abstieg.
