Описание: Joyce Apiyo, a 46‑year‑old mother from Patiko in Gulu District, transformed her life from selling silver fish and tomatoes to founding Patiko Parents School through support from the DREAMS project. After joining a savings group and receiving business training from CARE and APSDC, Joyce improved her record‑keeping, strengthened school management, built proper classrooms, and registered her school. With her husband’s support, strengthened through household dialogue sessions. Joyce is now expanding her school and shaping a brighter future for children in her community. Her story reflects the heart of DREAMS: empowering women to lead, grow, and build resilient communities.
