On my recent Japan vacation in December 2019, me and two friends went to the movies and watched the new Lupin III. I had already seen the Trailers before and was pretty excited for it. And i was not disappointed. It’s a great movie that you should watch, preferably before watching this AMV. However, even if you watch this AMV first there’s a great many things i just couldn’t cover and had to leave out. Go watch this movie and treat yourself.

Even before watching 'The First' i was open to the idea of editing an AMV to it based on the Trailers alone. But editing CGI is a rather different beast from editing Anime. Fortunately, the animations are very well thought out and rather Anime like so working with it felt natural rather quickly. There are some limiting factory since i couldn’t change the playback speed at will as it would look silly. Still, I think this AMV turned out quite nicely and i hope you’re having a good time watching it.

I first heard this version of Blue Monday in the WW84 trailer which was released around the same day i watched the movie. It’s a fantastic trailer and I immediately had the idea of editing this Anime to it. I think the song transports the epic and light hearted themes of this movie well.
