Roccocò is a Neapolitan dessert made with almonds, flour, sugar, candied fruit and Neapolitan pisto, which is a mixture of various spices. The roccocò is baked in the oven and has a rounded shape similar to that of a flattened donut with an average size of 10 cm. It is a particularly hard biscuit that can be softened by dipping it in vermouth, sparkling wine, white wine or marsala.
