Описание: This last trip to Hood River had lighter wind conditions, so I put on the Lift 180hax big foil with the Florence 30in m6 mast and the 4.3m Ozone Pocket Rocket. On days like this, if you have the right foil that can handle the slow speed of the bumps, it's super surfy and just non-stop turning fun. Also, sometimes the swells focus more on the swell City to Glass Factory section vs the top at tunnel 4. With the Parawing, you can decide at any point in your run to redeploy and rip back upwind and hit a section over and over. I find the lighter days with focused bumps in certain areas and a wide section of river to tack back upwind tips the scale in the direction of just staying on the water and ripping back upwind. I found the 4.3m Pocket Rocket really excelled in these conditions as it handled the lulls and had consistently better upwind in the up and down winds, and paired with a 6'6 80Liter SOS Parawing board, it allowed me to restart reliably.
