Classic Italian Ciambellone Cake
➡️ Ingredients:
• 1 package Marisa’s Easy Baking Mix for Ciambellone
• 260 ml liquid (milk, non-dairy beverage, or water)
• 90 ml fat (neutral oil, melted butter, or melted shortening)
➡️ Directions:
• Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
• Grease and flour a 21-cm tube pan (or similar).
• Pour baking mix into a large bowl.
• Make a well and add liquid and fat.
• Mix until smooth and creamy (about 2 minutes).
• Bake 45–50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
• Remove from pan and place on cooling rack.
• Cool, dust with icing sugar, and enjoy.
• Store in an airtight container. Keeps several days at room temperature.
Note:
1. Consider enhancing the vanilla flavour by adding ½ tsp vanilla extract.
2. Bake in 12-muffin tray (use cupcake liners).
