SPS Technology played a key role in the ambitious renovation of Delaware Stadium's West Stand, delivering a smarter, faster, and more sustainable solution for modernizing the University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hen's aging venue.

Rather than demolishing the existing structure, which was originally built in the early 1970's, the design team specified SPS Technology's innovative SPS Stadia+Arenas terrace decking system to "overbuild" the original precast concrete rakers, installing custom-designed modular terrace and stool sets directly into the existing bowl. The team was also able to update the disabled access to the stand. The result: a fully revitalized stadium that preserves the original structure while meeting the demands of fans now and in the future.
