If you’ve never participated in Lent before, you may feel a bit intimidated by the idea of fasting. If you’re wondering, “What do I give up for Lent?” or asking, “How does this whole Lent thing work?” you’re not alone! With you in mind, two dear friends and members of the Well-Watered Women team recorded a conversation all about Lent and fasting.
In this video, Maggie, Content Director, and Lauren, Theological and Content Editor and author of Victory in Jesus: A Lent Study Guide, share what the Lord has taught them in previous Lenten seasons and what God is leading them to fast from this year.
Our hope is that this video would encourage you as you consider your own plans to observe Lent this year and that it may even teach you how to reach out to a friend to start this kind of conversation with her.
