A level crossing located on the very busy A19 road, the main road that runs through the market town of Selby on the bank of the River Ouse due south of York. This level crossing is controlled from the signal box located right next to it, has a fairly-lengthy old-fashioned 5-second amber light timer, and two alarms of differing ages and eras. Rather bizarrely given the proper and fairly busy footways on both sides of the road, they're opposite each other on the same side (one side's off-side and the other's near-side). The four barriers here were installed towards the tail end of 2019, so are relatively new-ish.
