Loki has arrived back on Asgard after he went missing during the events of Avengers vs Galactus The Revenge for Earth. In a mishap Thanos abducted Loki to retrieve The Mind Stone during the Great War.

The following events take place directly after Thor tells Beta Ray Bill, and Adam Warlock why The Celestials and GALACTUS fought long ago. With Knull arriving on the outskirts of Asgard known as Hrimfall, a large scale battle is will ensue.
