Описание: QS-400 High speed X-ray food inspection system as designed by Steve Weber, Josh Mrotek and Jeff Hoffman for x-raying baby food inside of glass jars. The X-Ray flash (or pulse) / Cognex vision system camera and processing software is capable of detecting .5 mm Stainless Steel sphere, or 2 mm glass sphere, inside of a filled and capped glass jar at line speed rates up to 1300 per minute. This machine was installed at Heinz, Leamington, Ontario Canada. Designed to find broken glass inside of filled and capped glass containers at the end of baby food or formula, pasta sauce, canned soup or ?? production line, before they get shipped to the customers. We have produced a few other variant's of this machine, each one is custom designed to fit in as little as 10 feet of conveyor line. X-Ray leakage is minimized by pulsing the X-Ray (9 ms per jar) only when the jar is aligned as it goes through the inpection zone. Because of this feature, we were able to pass all radiation emmisions tests even though you can look straight clear through the tunnel. A Sedecal X-Ray Generator and control consoles, with special programming to create the pulse that we needed. A Cognex camera is used to analyze each image for contaminants, and make the decision that is handed off to a Mitsubishi FX1n 40MT PLC performs all product handling, reject tracking between inspection to the rejector, with adjustable timing for optimum rejector "push" (not "hit"), automatic distance finding function, for fast product changeover, and automatic high speed counter learning. 1600 lines of code runs a fast scan time of 3 ms on this PLC,...very few dedicated interupts were needed.
