GoPro Hero 9 In-Depth Trail Running Test

Описание: I've still been getting a handle on using my GoPro Hero 9 for recording footage while running and hiking, so I went out for a test run on the Conestoga Trail where I recorded clips with the various setting configurations—from lens options to framerate to resolution to audio modes. I've also edited together some side-by-side clips too. All of the key settings are documented in each clip, and the audio/video is unedited/ungraded. I thought this would help me make better videos and maybe be of use to others with a Hero 9 or interested in getting one.

Some more things worth noting:
• I'm holding the GoPro in my hand, not with a stick or tripod
• High Bitrate is on
• YouTube compresses footage, so it doesn't look as good as it does right off the GoPro

I really like 30 FPS with Linear + Horizon Leveling with High Bitrate. That's consistently nice when running and hiking without being too distorted. Wide lens is nice too. I tend to keep wind mode always on when outdoors, as it really does make the audio clearer, especially when moving the camera around frequently.

It's taken a few weeks and recording a considerable amount of footage with the GoPro to get comfortable with it, but once you get the hang of it, it's quite intuitive to use.
