Описание: This statue was unveiled in the presence of 2000 admirers of James Hogg, The Ettrick Shepherd, in 1860; he had died in 1835 and is buried at Ettrick Kirk. The statue overlooks St Mary's Loch and the Loch of the Lowes in Yarrow Glen, the Scottish Borders. Hogg was a poet and an author as well as a shepherd and he was a friend of Sir Walter Scott.
