Join me on my journey as I visit four Chorley pubs as part of my arty ale trail, following the famous Chorley Real Ale Trail. In each of the four pubs I visit I sample at least one pint of real ale helping inspire me to sketch whatever catches my eye. Thank you for viewing this video produced August 2022, shortly after the Chorley Flower Show staged in Astley Park. Fencing used during the flower show seen in this video was in the process of being removed. Only when events are held such as the flower show is fencing erected. This video also includes a brief glimpse of other bars and pubs located in Chorley town centre. Astley Park and it’s 16th century Jacobean hall, open to the public are also briefly included in this video due to Astley Hall being featured on the front cover of the Chorley Real Ale Trail leaflet.
