❇️Cam FAI has an increased prevalence in the athletic population, where repetitive impact and increased stress on the physis may cause the development of abnormal joint morphology. From a young age, the frequency and intensity of training in this population are far greater than in recreational athletes or the general population.

Most CAMS don’t cause any issues and we know now are just bog standard normal variances in male hips.
