Building a recording studio… In a living room?!

Most home studio owners build their studios in one of two places – their bedroom or their basement. But what if you could convert your living room to a studio?

Unrealistic? Probably. I mean, you need a place to live, right?

Well… that’s exactly what I just did at our new home.

The house we purchased had a “new house” built onto the “old house” as an addition, so I overhauled the original living room on the old side to build out my new home studio. I was so accustomed to working out of my previous space of 20 years that it was hard to envision having “that feeling” somewhere else. However, it didn’t take long for things to start coming together and for the vibes to start flowing through the new room!
