I like this saw very much. I got it to complete a small home repair project and it works really well. Simple to use, cuts are clean.

I didn't want to rate this saw until I'd had an opportunity to do a reasonable amount of work with it. Now after cross cutting many 2 x 4s and even a few 2 x 8 joists and doing several long rip cuts, I'm happy to give this thing a 5-star rating. The handle to control the depth broke off within 4 weeks. I am not “the rock” I pressed this down with normal pressure. Well, that is subjective.

For safety there is a guarded trigger which will minimise accidental start ups, which is backed up with an indicator light which shows when the tool is switched on. The last thing we want is a couple of missing fingers when we are done with our days cutting, so this piece of mind gives added comfort to our buying decision.

So, weighing at 8.7 pounds and running at a quick 5300 revs per minute, this suits the many jobs around the home that most hobbyists will need it for.
