I started this like 5 months ago, and as it often happens, I can't stand working on this anymore so here it is.
Emma and Regina knew eachother back in the EF. They were friends. sort of. But Regina felt alone and like a prisoner, and started to learn magic in order to take control of her own life. She slowly became the Evil Queen despite Emma's disaproval. That drew them appart.
Back in SB, Emma wants Regina to give up on her magic but Regina can't (doesn't want to). Until the day she hurts Emma.
