Описание: After overcoming the heat, our next location is a castle. Well unlike Magnet Bomber’s this one looks all bright, colorful and very inviting (if only it wasn’t the base of the enemy), and is also the home of an Amusement Park! This outta be fun.

As you can see, this stage is very bright and cutesy, which can also be said for the music where you can literally hear rubber ducky quack sounds being used in the track.

A main mechanic for this stage and something that future areas will cary over is that now the capsules can be deactivated even when they are turned on, all of the capsules must now be turned on simultaneously in order to clear the stage, giving levels more of a puzzle element.

The Guardi enemies (the purple armored bots with an eye) in this stage are all immune to your bomb blast, the only way they can be defeated is if you active a series of switches that are all linked up to them. Once all of them have been activated, any Guardi enemies on the map will all be destroyed at the same time.

Being an Amusement Park it also comes with a variety of different attractions to interact with such as the canons, ship rides, and the cool little shells and tanks you can ride on by defeating the Poyo enemies (they act more like armors rather than power ups though). The one thing to really be cautious for are the trampolines, you use the directional buttons to influence where you’ll bounce to and will jump even farther depending on much the direction has been held. They aren’t bad at first as their only used to get to parts of the map you normally can’t reach, but this especially becomes troubling when you have to use them to bounce across pools of water to get to where you need to go, 3-6 is the biggest example of this. The whole stage requires you to jump from trampoline to trampoline across an entire pool of water, mess up the jump and you will fall into the water making you restart the stage all over again.

Pretty Bomber is our boss for this area, of all the Dastardly Bombers, she’s a character who would also later make appearances and cameos in future games to come. she sends out heart bombs that’ll move around the field by themselves, but just like with Golem Bomber’s mech phase, her own bombs can also harm her as well making it also possible to win the fight without having to use much bomb placements. As for her mech phase, remember the Clown Mask from the last game which was also in an amusement park setting? The nightmare fuel returns in the form of Mask Change, a giant mask in the shape of the sun. It attacks by winking to shoot out eight sparkles which spread out and move in straight lines kinda like the Clown Mask where it sends out sparkles after you’ve land a hit. It also winks out a heart that will float towards you, it doesn’t harm you but by blowing it up it’ll cause the boss to be enraged and will follow you for a short time (which I wasn’t able to show). It takes about 11 hits to defeat.

Here’s an odd piece of trivia, this is the only boss in the game where it doesn’t play the victory theme after it is defeated.
