Soap Parting is a technique for creating unique patterns in cold process soap. Rigid dividers are inserted into a slab mold of liquid soap and colored soap is poured between the dividers. It is the only technique I am aware of that can produce a checkered type pattern in a single soap pour. In this video I make two batches and show soap parting two times. You have to admit, it produces an out-of-the-ordinary looking soap!
