Well, this turned out to be the longest video I have ever made. Still a bunch of short segments but I wanted to be as detailed as possible. There is some extra looking around as I will eventually want to use this as proof of it's condition so sorry about that. You should always replace parts in pairs, if one side needs it, do the other side too. That way you know it's good too. That's why pads/shoes are sold in full axle sets. Both left and right sides. For some reason I started calling the brake wheel cylinders master cylinders but I correctly identified them up front. You should put a catch pan of some kind to catch the old brake fluid. I used the "old" method of 2 person brake bleeding but there are many videos of how to make your own single person tool using a common spray bottle head. The easiest way is to simply attach a small hose from the bleeder screw into a jar/container. Add brake fluid to cover the end of the hose and simple pump the brakes. As long as the hose is in the fluid, no air will get back up into the lines. Make sure the master cylinder has fluid kept in it. For high mileage vehicles, I recommend basically flushing out the entire system of old fluid. Since the recommendation is to only use fluid from a new container, ( not kidding ) you might as well as use it up anyway. Unless there is a major problem, leaking cyl/brake line. You will probably never need it again until you wear out your pads/shoes to replace the small amount to account for that in the system.

If you would generously like to help me with my retirement, please consider donating to my retirement fund. There’s a {$} sort of symbol up there on the right or a “thanks” button.. Pressing that button activates the Super Thanks and allows folks to donate, or Buy Me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/teammudshark, or here is a link to my Paypal account where you can send me whatever amount you might want. https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/6C.... Any amount will be greatly appreciated. It would be great to be able to actually buy a project that’s not on it’s last legs, or have to rely on whatever I can salvage. Thanks for watching either way.
Have a great day. Keep in mind, if I can do it, you probably can too.
