Описание: In this video, I "split" the tractor, and remove the engine and begin tearing it down, getting it ready to take to the machine shop. Apparently, it had run plain water in the cooling system. This resulted in a huge amount of rust and scale build up in the water jackets. While I don't have to worry about getting the block bored since it's a "wet sleeve" design, I will have to have the block and head boiled out to clear it of all the crud that built up over the years. Based upon my findings when tearing it down, my suspicion is that the water in the cooling system froze up during the winter months. This engine has no freeze plugs in the block, so either the block, or the cylinder sleeve will crack from the pressure. Thankfully, it appears that the sleeve yielded. I'm guessing that the previous owner ran the tractor with the cracked cylinder sleeve until the engine "Hydro-locked" due to water from the cooling system getting in the cylinder. Since water does not compress, and the connecting rods are immensely huge and strong, they did not bend, and the sleeve blew out where it had cracked the previous winter.
