A brief overview of a camp & fly trip that I completed in June of 2023. I walked up the tourist track at approx 6pm & camped on the last available flat ground prior to the summit. The following day I attempted to launch from the west face and fly down to Wasdale Head/Wast Water but had to modify the plan slightly and takeoff from the N/NE side of the summit plateau due to the unforecasted strong meteo wind from the NE.
