Описание: Just arrived with us at RFH Classics we have this low mileage 1990 (H) Ford Escort 1.6 LX finished in Vermillion Red with Grey Cloth Trim that has only had one former owner from new. The 2nd owner purchased the car in 1992 and has been the custodian of this car for the past 31 years in which time they only covered just over 15,000 miles, how rare is to find one of these that has only had two owners and covered such a low mileage.

The bodywork is in lovely condition and has clearly been very well cared for over the years as has the interior which is finished in Grey Cloth and features a tilt and slide sunroof which works in both directions. The cloth seat trim, although being 33 years old is virtually like new and the standard fit Ford Radio Cassette is still in the dash. Under the bonnet sits the 1597cc petrol engine that starts at the turn of the key and is paired with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The engine compartment is as clean and nice as the rest of this charming car.

To accompany the car we have the original Ford book pack that contains the Owner’s Manual and Service Book that has 7 dealer stamps. In addition the file also contains old style MOT tests that date from 1993 to 2002 when the car had done just under 38k with electronic records picking up thereafter and confirming the car was last tested in 2008 at 39,397. Other paperwork in the file includes a annual mileage record kept by the previous owner and invoices for the Cam Belt and Brakes being replaced. Within the screen price of £5,495 we will again replace the Cam Belt and Water Pump when it is serviced and given a new MOT test.
