Today I am sharing how I make sandy-gritty texture pastes to use on scrapbooking and mixed media projects. My process is easy and today I try to replicate the amazing 'Crypt' grit paste created by Tim Holtz. In this video, learn how to use several methods to create different textural effects using these homemade translucent and opaque sandy-gritty pastes. I demonstrate how water-based products can be used used to achieve different finishes.
View my first make-your-own texture paste-matte-shimmer or metallic video here, for the basics of producing (smooth) texture pastes.
