A sessions judge in Kerala gave bail to 74-year-old activist Civic Chandran and commented that the woman wears sexually provocative clothes. The judge also said that since Civic Chandran is an activist who works for a casteless society, it was impossible to believe that he would molest a woman knowing she is from a Scheduled Caste Community.
In this episode, Dhanya Rajendran poses a few questions to the judge. TNM also speaks to Supreme Court advocate Karuna Nundy about why this misogyny prevails in court.
