On April 23, 2014, at The Music Box Theatre in Chicago, Sound Opinions presented film's love letter to rock 'n' roll, Almost Famous.
Before the film, Jim and Greg also presented this seldom heard interview between a young Jim DeRogatis and his music critic icon, Lester Bangs.
Bangs was famously portrayed by actor Philip Seymour Hoffman in 'Almost Famous' and this recorded interview was used extensively by Hoffman to prepare for the role.
Featuring the music of Lester Bangs & The Delinquents, Charlie Mingus, The Grateful Dead, New York Dolls and The Velvet Underground.
