Описание: SaFFlicks Pride Film Fest returns for Pride Month 2026 with a vibrant hybrid celebration of sapphic storytelling, bringing together five standout short films that centre lesbian, bisexual and women-loving-women experiences across comedy, drama and documentary.

Launching in person at L FEST: Back to Basecamp in Shrewsbury from 5–7 June before moving online via Lesflicks from 8–21 June, the festival offers audiences the chance to discover fresh independent voices and authentic queer stories from the UK and the USA. We also are hosting a networking screening event for LGBTQ+ Network chairs in London hosted by Universal Music Group UK and facilitated by British LGBT Awards and InvestingIN LGBTQ+ and supported by IntermediaUK. This event is invite only.

Trapped (2026) - Two longtime neighbors, Gina and Alexa, find themselves unexpectedly trapped in a stalled elevator in their apartment building—an enclosed space that quickly becomes more revealing than they anticipated. As tension builds between them, so do the cracks in their carefully maintained lives. Gina, a seasoned detective accustomed to reading people and uncovering truths, begins to sense there’s more to Alexa than the surface suggests. Alexa, outwardly composed but quietly unraveling, is an unhappily married woman carrying secrets she’s never voiced aloud.
What begins as a chance encounter turns into an intense psychological confrontation, forcing both women to face not only their immediate situation, but the deeper truths they’ve been avoiding.
