Music captured live by Audio Archivist John MacMillan on Canada’s Denman Island, BC. Then, in “post” as it were, film composer/scorer Kayla Schmah contributes string arrangement and production in Hollywood, USA.
First released on Allison’s album “Spiral” – https://allisoncrowe.bandcamp.com/tra... – in this creative mashup we encounter as well the original cinematic interpretation of Gaston Leroux’s gothic novel, “The Phantom of the Opera” – visuals from the unrestored version of the 1925 film – now in the public domain – featuring Lon Chaney as ‘The Phantom’.
