The system allows the robot to be deployed directly onto the power line by a drone, eliminating the need for human access or bucket trucks.
The drone can also carry the robot from one pole to another, enabling fast and flexible operations along the line.
Once placed on the line, the robot safely performs tasks such as tree trimming and ice removal while the line remains energized.
