We gave each AI programming assistant the exact same prompt inside a huge codebase (over 1 million lines of code!) to see which one could successfully implement a new feature. We used default, out-of-the-box settings for a fair and transparent comparison. Can these AI agents live up to the hype, or will they fail under pressure?
