We are Bea & Helmut, motorcycle adventurers, photographers and National Geographic authors. In 2011 we sold all our belongings and set off on a motorcycle journey around the world on two old Honda Transalps. We called the road home for over 5 years and covered 155.000 km across 5 continents. We left our comfort zone, pushed ourselves to our limits and beyond, experienced incredible hospitality and discovered some of the most beautiful places on earth.
This adventure has completely changed the way we see the world and our lives. It has shown us what is possible and how much life has to offer if only we have the courage to face our fears and go our own way.
Our goal is to inspire you with our stories and encourage you to follow your own path - no matter how unusual, crazy or unrealistic it may seem to others.
In August 2024 we embarked on another epic adventure. This time we set off on two 50-year-old 50cc mopeds to tackle some of Australia's most iconic Outback tracks - because all you really need to go out and explore the world is a little bit of courage and curiosity!
