Our expedition's highlight was undoubtedly our day spent in Madera Canyon, accompanied by the knowledgeable Harry Z. The Canyon Visitor Center was our starting point, leading us to fascinating finds such as a bird's nest woven with snakeskin and the elusive green click beetles. The encounter with a predatory katydid showcased the canyon's diverse insect life, making for an exciting and educational exploration. Whether it was the longhorn beetles, fig beetles, or the cat-faced spiders, each discovery added a layer of wonder to our unforgettable Arizona insect adventure.
