Becoming a foster parent in British Columbia with the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) – and supported by SOS Children’s Village BC – is a life-changing commitment for an individual or family. That’s why we’re here to support you every step of the way!
The SOS BC model of care is unique: we support professional foster parents who care for up to six siblings in a single-family home in one of our Village communities, and families who live in close relation to our Village.
For foster parents connected to SOS BC, their job is not just a full-time job – it’s a full-time vocation with a transformational impact on children in need of a family!
