ABS lite was staying lit on the dash. This was intermittent at first. Then it stayed on. Connected to Alpha OBD to real ABS module faults.
C2200 ABS module electronic internal failure.
This fault means what it says. Need to replace ABS module because it failed.
P/N: 68228991AD (which supersedes 68228991AC)
This ABS module is expensive and hard to get. I used a refurbished one from Repair laboratory for half the price and its working fine.
Pull and replace the ABS module and perform ABS initialization steps in Alpha OBD.
Apologize at the end there, i think the sound was trying to connect to my truck.
What i was saying was that for the last step, after clearing ABS DTCs (faults), you must power off truck completely and disconnect Alpha OBD. Wait 30s or so, then
Then turn key and reconnect to ABS module and perform “Clearing Rolls Information”
Once this performs successfully, the ABS light flashed on and off a bit. Disconnected from alpha and keyed off truck. Started truck and ran for a bit. Keyed off. Started again, and ABS lights went away.
Connected to ABS module via alpha and NO more ABS faults.
