If you are struggling in the Nightmare version of Granum void, take the Xoris. Holomom even tells you to use it at the beginning of the mission.
Each ghost popped gets you a pip on the Xoris' charge meter.
Freeing the solaris with a fully charged (three pips) throw gets you a big chunk of time on the clock and fully charged explosions get a hefty damage and range increase making nuking spooks en-mass easy.
Picking up the little gold pyramids they drop also adds a few seconds.
